What are GoDollars?
I'm glad you asked that question. GoDollars is an exciting concept where you earn reward points (GoDollars) for every transaction you make. These accumlate in your account and can be used towards further purchases. Or they can even be given away as gift vouchers to family and friends!
Can I cash in GoDollars?
No
How many GoDollars do I get with each transaction?
GoDollars are calculated as a percentage of the total purchase. This percentage varies from sale to sale.
Do GoDollars expire?
No, they will stay in your account as long as it is active. And you can use any part of your GoDollars tally at any time.
How can I transfer GoDollars to a friend?
Simply login and go to the 'Account' page. Scroll down to the 'Create a voucher' section and input the amount you wish to transfer as well as the e-mail address of the person you wish to send it to.
An e-mail will be sent to your friend with a unique redemption code which they can use to redeem your GoDollars after they have signed up for an account with us.
But what happens if my friend does not redeem the voucher? What happens to my GoDollars?
If your friend does not input the redeem code within 14 days of sending the voucher, then your account will be credited the amount back and the code will expire.
Placing an Order
Can I view the products or pickup the order in person?
No, our warehouse is not setup for pickups.
Is there a set limit on how many of the same item I can buy?
Yes. Because of the high demand on some of the deals we get, we do sometimes have to put a limit on the number of units of the same product you can buy in a single transaction.
How do I choose a colour/design/size/option of a product?
You can choose your desired product option in the drop down box on your Shopping Cart page once it has been added.
Can I order a product as a gift for somebody?
Yes you can, just select your friends address from your account address book during the checkout process.
Can I cancel or change my order once I have paid for it?
No you cannot. Once the payment has been accepted, the process of completing your order begins immediately and we are unable to change your order at this stage.
Do I need to register to place an order on GoDeals?
Yes you do. Registration is absolutely free and can be done from the signup section found at the top of the page or by clicking on this link.
How do I use GoDollars towards my purchase?
You can use whatever amount you like from your GoDollars tally in the 'Checkout' page, by simply inputing the amount of GoDollars you wish to put towards the order. Please note, you still need to pay at least one dollar ($1.00) for your order to complete the purchase. This is because we cannot process your credit with a zero amount.
How do I check the status of my order?
Just login and go to the 'My Account' page. There is an entire section called 'My Order Histroy' which is devoted tracking and recording any transactions made on the account.
My Account
Can I change my personal details after signing up?
Yes you can, simply login and go to the 'My Account' page. Scroll down to the 'My Account Details' section and edit the relevant fields. Once you are done, click on the submit button.
How do I change my password?
Simply login and go to the 'My Account' page. Scroll down to the 'Change Password' section and edit the relevant fields. Once you are done, click on the submit button.
How do I create a gift voucher?
Just login and go to the 'My Account' page. Scroll down to the 'Redeem A Gift Voucher' section and edit the relevant fields. Once you are done, click on the submit button.
How do I redeem a gift voucher?
Login to your account and scroll down to the 'Redeem A Gift Voucher' section. Input the gift voucher code into the text box and click 'Redeem'. Your GoDollars tally will then update itself to the correct amount. The code will then expire once it has been used.
How does the Address Book work?
The address book is just a simple way to keep a record of all your contacts and to help speed up your transaction processing. Simply click 'Add Another Address' and fill out the fields that popup on the screen. Once complete, click 'Submit' to ensure the details are sent to our database. Congratulations! You now have a contact in your address book. There is also an option to edit or delete any of these entries if you need to in the future.
How do I check my order history?
You can check your order history by logging into your account and going to the 'My Account' page. Scroll down to the bottom section of this page to view your order history and to check the status of an order.
Payment
What payments can I use to purchase products?
There are two payments that we use and they are Visa and Mastercard. You can also use your GoDollars towards paying for your order.
Do you accept PayPal as a method of payment?
Not at this stage.
Can I lay-by or put items on hold?
Not at this stage.
What currency are your prices displayed in, and do they include GST?
All product prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.
Do I need an ABN to purchase from GoDeals?
You do not need an ABN to purchase products from GoDeals.
Will I recieve a tax invoice with my purchase?
Once you have completed a purchase, an invoice will be sent to your account e-mail address.
Shipping
How long does it take for me to recieve my order?
This time period can vary from location to location, but we do send out all goods from our warehouse within 5-21 days depending how buisy it is. Usual delivery time is within 3-21 business days, sometimes it can take longer.
Can I pickup my goods?
No, our warehouse is not setup for pickups.
How much will I be charged for shipping?
We pride ourselves on providing our customers with extremely competitive shipping prices. You can view them by clicking on the 'Shipping' link in the product description page. Sometimes we even offer a capped shipping charge. This means you can buy as many items as you like, and only pay one flat rate (eg: $10 almost anywhere with Australia). Some large items and rural areas will incur a higher shipping charge. This will be mentioned during the checkount process.
What happens if no one is home when my order arrives?
Don't worry if you are not home, the courier or postman will leave you a card which will advise you where to pickup your item from. For example, your local post office or depot.
Is my order send via registered post?
Yes all of our products are sent via registered post, and are also insured during transit.
How do I know that my order has been sent?
You can check thisby looking in your order history, which is found on the 'My Account' page. You can monitor the status of your order through this feature.
Warranty & Return
Do you provide a warranty for your products?
Yes all products are covered by a warranty. This will vary from product to product. For more details, please check the product description before checking out.
What happens if an item is faulty?
If an item is faulty or arrives damaged due to shipping, we will help you lodge a claim with the courier or if the item is out of stock we will credit your account for the equivalent amount plus the shipping cost. If the product arrives damaged due to shipping, we will need to be notified with 24 hours of delivery.
What happens if I change my mind about a product?
We do not offer refunds so please choose carefully before purchasing.
